New Music in the 1920s: Alban Berg and His World
This year, the Bard Music Festival is devoted to the works of Alban Berg. The programme includes Eisler's rarely-performed cantata Tagebuch des Hanns Eisler op. 9 as well as works by Hába, Korngold, Toch, and of course Berg.
Start: 1.30 p.m.

"Lebensstationen" – opening of the season with Eisler's Regen music
The opening of the season at Berlin's Konzerthaus is devoting itself in two parts to the "life stages" of Gustav Mahler. In the second part, from 10.15 p.m., the Kammerensemble Neue Musik Berlin, conducted by Roland Kluttig, will perform works by Schoenberg and Berg as well as Hanns Eisler's Vierzehn Arten den Regen zu beschreiben – live to the silent film Regen by Joris Ivens and Mannus Franken.

Max Pommer conducts Eisler's Ernste Gesänge
"An die Hoffnung: 20 Jahre wiedervereinigtes Deutschland"
Under the baton of Max Pommer, the Hamburger Camerata will perform a programme of works by Beethoven and Eisler. Baritone Christian Eberl will sing the solo part in Eisler's Ernste Gesänge.
